Cupressus sempervirens 'Glauca'

Common Name: Blue Italian Pencil Pine

Pot size available: 200mm, 250mm, 330mm and 45L

This is one of the best forms of Pencil Pine. Fast growing with dark dense foliage. Plants grow 2.5 metres tall in 3 - 4 years. Will grow in excess of 15 metres tall in the long term so is best pruned and kept at a manageable height, responds well to regular light trimming. Drought tolerant and grows best in a full sun position.

Cycas revoluta

Used as a feature plant in courtyards and large garden beds. Very slow growing.  Prefers well drained fertile moist sandy loam. Position in full sun to part shade. Always happy to email current photos of plants.

Cycas Taitungensis

Common Name: Emperor Sago

The Emperor Sago Palm is famous for its vigorous growth, producing as many as 6 new sets of leaves per year. It’s native to mountainous regions of Taiwan, found on steep slopes. It can grow up to 3.5m tall, usually with 1 trunk. Similar in form to the Cycas revoluta, the "Sago Palm", however Cycas taitungensis is a more vigorous grower that has leaflets that are longer, broader and flatter than its more famous cousin. Cycas taitungensis is also very cold-tolerant. Cycas taitungensis grows well in full sun as well as partial shade. Makes a fantastic feature plant, has a very distinctive appearance. Leaves are slightly fussy and feel a little like cardboard. Great for coastal conditions and can be used in pots to fantastic effect. Likes a well drained sunny to part shade position. Always happy to email current photo of plants.
